Peter Zalewski
Condo Vultures® Founder 

CVR Realty™, a licensed Florida real estate brokerage created in 2009, is the latest venture started by Condo Vultures® founder Peter Zalewski.

Zalewski is a trusted real estate consultant who was named the Miami Association of Realtors 2011 Market Advisor of the Year. Zalewski also writes a monthly column for the Miami Herald newspaper's Business Monday section.  

Zalewski, a non-practicing real estate broker who has had a Florida license since 1995, focuses his time on real estate analytics and overseeing the Market Intelligence effort for the CondoVultures.com internet company.

Under Zalewski's guidance, CondoVultures.com has worked to create several customized databases for foreclosures, distressed properties, and bulk situations; distribute the weekly Market Intelligence Report newsletter; produce various seminars; and publish 12 eBooks under two franchises - Miami's Great Condo Crash™ and the Official Condo Buyers Guide™ - since 2008.   Zalewski's current focus is on building out the CondoRatingsAgency.com internet company that launched in December 2011.

The CondoRatingsAgency.com's mission is to provide an analysis of the economic conditions of nearly 1,000 condominium associations with 125,000 units in South Florida's seven largest coastal markets of Greater Downtown Miami, South Beach, Sunny Isles Beach, Hollywood / Hallandale Beach, Downtown Fort Lauderdale and Beach, Boca Raton / Deerfield Beach, and Downtown West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Island. 

After 12 years as a financial journalist, Zalewski left the newspaper industry in March 2006 - as the South Florida real estate market was peaking - to create Condo Vultures®.

In the six years since its creation, Condo Vultures® has established an international reputation for realtime Market Intelligence on the South Florida condo market. 

Zalewski has been quoted more than 500 times in domestic and international newspapers, magazines, radio programs, TV segments, and a Hollywood movie. 

Zalewski's first real estate venture was the licensed Florida buyside brokerage Condo Vultures® Realty LLC, which since July 2006 has worked with buyers - both on an individual and institutional level - to acquire distressed properties.

Jenny Huertas is a licensed real estate broker with several designations - including Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) and TransNational Referral Certified (TRC) - who manages a team of experienced professionals for CVR Realty™.

Huertas joined CVR Realty™ in August 2011 after five years working as a buyer broker with Condo Vultures® Realty LLC during the heart of the South Florida condo crash. 

Huertas headed up Condo Vultures® Realty's international sales division.Originally from Colombia, Huertas obtained a bachelor's degree in business administration from Universidad Autónoma del Caribe in Barranquilla, Colombia.

Prior to joining  Condo Vultures® Realty, Huertas worked for Kirschner Realty International as an in-house sales representative on the new Lexi condominium tower in North Bay Village in Miami-Dade County.
